Franklin Regional Hospital ?

Hey, for those of you who have had their surgery at FRH, what did they require you to pay up front?  I saw somebody say they got a letter from them, but I have not received anything.  I have BCBS of NC. Thanks! Lori

My insurance UHC pays 100%  - if they ever approve me  LOL You should be able to call your ins. and have them give you an exact amout or the hospital billing dept. You know that they won't discharge you until payment is made. Seriously, when your discharged the nurse wheels you right down to billing before you leave. Scouts honor! Check into it, I just might get your spot after all!  LOL

Lori,             I didn't have to pay anything at FRM........They will tell you what you have to pay at pre-op. If so, I guess I would have been in the cafeteria washing dishes from my stretcher!!!   =0)   

Call the Business Office & talk to Joann and make arrangements with her to make monthly payments for your bariatric workup. And any other pre-surgery appointments. Make sure u stick to your payment plan. Then u should b able to include any hospitalization bills in your total owed to FRH. But again you must call the Business Office. And set this up prior to your surgery.I am  making $100.00 monthly payment and so far I have not had any problems with this arrangement. I have NC BCBS PPO. My surgery date is July 11th 2007 at FRH. My friend had surg. at FRH in Jan. she said she had to pay I think was 250. She als has BCBS.

I got a letter from Jo Anne Ovanna the Benefits coordinator, at FRH telling me what portion I have to pay based on payment expectations from my insurance.
