Had another "moment"

OK - I am still pre-op due to need to drop a teeny bit more weight before surgery...blah blah blah... Today I had regular check up with PCP since he put me on BP meds. For the first time in 3 years I was able to be weighed on a "regular" scale! I can now hop up on it and get weighed like a "normal" person!...without having to "ballpark" estimated weight! Yay me! Can I  get an AMEN? Mare

Congratulations Mare!  I remember when that day came for me.  In my old doctor's office, I had to walk across the entire doctor's office to go to the special scale in the closet to weigh.  I was so excited the day I was able to just stand on the one in the nurse's station.  Good Job! Hopefully soon they won't have to use a thigh cuff to take my BP either. *sigh*
