Need Some Help
Hey, all. I haven't posted much lately. I am about a year and a half out and down about 165lbs. I have hit a brick wall...old habits sneak up quickly! My hubby and I are having difficulty...some related to my surgery. I really need some support right now. I could give a rats butt about weight right now, but I know when I come back to my senses it will hit me in the face! Thanks for letting me vent...I just don't know what to do...
Hey there! You have definately come to the right place. Congratulations on your weightloss!
We are actually starting a new nontraditional, non program affiliated support group. We are meeting for the first time this Saturday. Check out the main board for all the details.
I would encourage you, if your schedule permits, to come out. We expect a group of about 10 but are hoping to establish strong lasting relationships.
Please let us know how we can support you!
Wishing you all the best!
Candice
You have a great weight loss that is something to be very proud of. Try and work out and don't let yourself grt back into those habits. That would make you feel even worse about youself, and thats not what you need right now Come join our Raleigh group! Get to know some local friends! Your welcome to contact me anytime if you'd like.
I wish you the best!
My husband and I are having problems too. They started way before surgery, but they persist. He plans on separating and has for some time. The thing is, this surgery, and your health, are paramount to your relationship. It is important to take care of yourself no matter what happens with him. You are worth the effort irregardless of your marital cir****tances.
When I went through my pre-op counseling, I told the doctor about this. But I maintained then, and still do, that I am doing this surgery for me. I need to get healthy whether or not he is with me. I want so much for him to stay, but I cannot control him, nor can you control your husband. All you can do is get healthy and live your life the best way you can.
Please know you have support here whenever you need it.
Take care.
Ellen
