My surgery is still tentative for this Thursday the 21st.  Praying all will work out and planning so..

I'm just two weeks out from my surgery, so I don't that I can make the trip to your hospital yet. But if you can have a phone angel, I'd be honored to watch over you and post your progress.

Barb,             This forum has been such a blessing to me!  At this point I'm not sharing the news of my WLS. I don't want the pressure and judgement right now. When the time comes and I've had my WLS and begin to have noticeable weight loss, I will be more than happy to share. To me it's like when a couple get's pregnant but doesn't tell anyone until they're far enough along and feel comfortable and have been reassured that the pregnancy will be successful, they share. Strange maybe but that's how I feel about it? SO LOOKING FORWARD TO SATURDAY!

Shawanna,                          Just wanted to give you a shout out!!! I grew up in Asheville, I moved to the Raleigh area about 8 years ago......I still travel there often to see my family....my sister is in West Asheville, my Mom in Weaverville.

 I'm on the west side of town and know Weaverville more than I care to! lol Swing on by and say hello when in town.
