Yeah! I'm so excited, they called me on Sat. and left a message to call back. WOO HOO! When I heard the message to call them, it was like OK they're calling on Sat. - I got the job. Confirmed! We talked and everything is perfect! I told them that I have tentative surgery on Thurs. and would be able to be back Mon. I didn't say what kinda of surgery. Now, I'm worried of what they will think if they see me losing weight quickly. I don't know these people yet and really don't want to tell them, I'll be under enough scrutiny being the "new girl" in an office of at least 15-20 women. It's not like I'm going to try to hide the fact forever, it's just that there's going to be enough going on in my life to be worried about explaining or defending myself to these people yet.  I need to drag out my uniforms out in the morning from over a year ago, I have a very strong suspicion they're NOT going to fit. I may be uniform shopping tomorrow but I don't want to get to many because I'll be shrinking. Now, I need to get ready for surgery and a new job! Did I really want to get a job?LOL I'm looking forward to getting out of the house and having some "fun" money.

Great news, Amanda! As for the 15 - 20 other women? There may be a few like us who would like to make this wonderful change to better their health and spirit. I'll bet they're not all "perfect" and just may be a bigger support than you think.  Keep your chin up and think positive. It'll be great! New doors are opening for you! Mare

Whoooo Hoooo!!!!!  Way to go Wendy!!!!! Hey, don't worry about losing weight after starting the job, just chalk it up to being back at work!  They will think you are great!  They will be saying good things about "the new girl".  And I agree with you, the less said, the better.  You don't need anyone judging you. Congrats again! Lori

Congrats!!  A new job and a new body. Starting over will not be bad.  You don't have to share anything with these new coworkers, just let them be amazed at your loss.  Plus, they don't know you so they won't have anything to compare you to.  I'd love to work for "fun" money instead of obligation to bill collectors money.
