Traci, What awesome news!!!!  I am so very excited for you and this gives me a lot of encouragement as well.  You Go Girl!!!  I think having a scale is fine as long as you use it as a tool of celebration.  Even if its only 1 pound lost, its worth celebrating because that is 1 pound that you will never see again!! Hi MT.  I see you had surgery by Dr. Bauman.  I ,too, hope to have him do LapBand on me in July.  How has your success be so far? Has his nutritionist been helpful to you?  Were you up on your feet and going shortly after the procedure?  Any info you can share will be appreciated. Barbara G. from Monroe.

Hi,  I have not had surgery yet. I'm in the get-er-done stage.  Test an wait.  I have been to nutritionist and like her. She was very heipful in letting me know what to expect. I have found Dr. B to be very direct and get to the problem. He tells the truth an I am very confident in him. I have one loophold in my wls.  I have had 4 previous surgeries an a posible new hernia. Things are on standstill untill he can get info. from previous surgery.  I wish you the best of luck and I hope things go smoothly for you and you have great success.

That is wonderful! Reading stuff like that gives me such hope for the future. I can't wait to hear something from my doctor. Maybe next week.

Traci - You are doing awesome! Keep up the good work. Just be careful that darn scale can get addicting - that's the problem when your watching to too much. Been there, done that. Funny thing though when I'm fat - never step on it. LOL                       .                scale.

((((Traci)))) Congratulations!  Ain't it some kind of wonderful?  LOL  My original goal was to lose 100 lbs in a year (March 2008).  A month after surgery I was down 31 lbs, so I decided, ok 100 lbs by Christmas!  Now I am 11 weeks out and down 55 lbs, so I'm thinking ok.... 100 lbs by October!  It is so mind boggling... everything is so different and so wonderful! Again, congratulations, Diane
