Wendy, Congratulations!  She is beautiful! I will be right there next year at this time!  Nobody can tell you how fast they grow up, it is quite a ride! Lori

Thanks Lori! Get prepared now because the year will fly by.  I can't believe she's old enough for college - yet I've remained so young! LOL

Congratulations Wendy!  You must be so proud.  Our son graduated this past weekend too.  We were relieved and excited for him.  On monday and tuesday we spent the days at ECU doing freshman orientation.  Financing college, there's a scary thought!  Anyway, congrats and good luck! Take care. Ellen

Own it all, it's yours!

Ellen - Congrat's to you too! Our daughter hasn't decided where she is going yet ( trying to figure out which friends she wants to go to college with ) Oh well, she'll figure it out. Our neighbor (daughters friend) goes to ECU, he'll be a sophmore this year. ECU is one of her choices too. She'll make up her mind - soon I hope!

Your daughter is beautiful. I know you are proud of her. We had one graduate from 8th grade this year and have two sons who graduate next year from high school. For the first in about 30 years we won't have kids in public school after the boys graduate. We homeschool the youngest two of our seven kids.

Hat's off to you! Home schooling is such wonderful option for families. I have a girlfriend who home schools her 4 boys. I know what a challenge it can be but , I also see the very positive results of it. My son will be entering 8th grade this year, right now we're doing the "I need a cell phone" dance. LOL                              .     dancing cellphone.

I know that dance very well. I won't give in and my kids are sure they are the only ones in the world who don't have cell phones!
