Prayers For Laura

Hi Everyone, My name is Mike and I am having RNY on 8/1/07 in Hickory NC. My wife Laura is having RNY tomorrow morning at Hickory also. I know she will get through the surgery ok. I have learned so much by watching her. I would like to ask you to pray for Laura and a speedy recovery. I would also like your advice on things I can do to assist her through the recovery process. Ladies what would you have liked your husband to do for you in the recovery process. Thanks,

Mike, I just offered up a prayer for both of you.  Turn it all over to the Lord and trust in him.  Let him carry your worries.  Don't be afraid to call your church or someone you know that goes faithfully and ask them to be put on their prayer list ASAP if you haven't already.  Prayers are the best medicine!

Laura is through surgery. She has had to have afew units of blood when they discovered anemia. Her pain level is high, especially in the left upper abdomen. she is having tightness of chest and a hard time breathing. She is going to be ok but it is pretty rocky right now.
