Hey my drs say I need to focus more on protein rather than carbs. They say I need to eat lowfat cheese, cottage cheese, eggs, sugar free yogurt, peanut butter and couscous(LOL). Well needlessto say I didnt do very well on that diet. Most of it made me sick. today I get to have fish and I have done good with that so far.I did tuna in water (13 grams protein in 2 ounces). I am 3 weeks out come wednesday. I read in someone elses post that their dr says every carb you eat is more hairloss down the road. So just try to focus on the Protein..Well Good Luck....TTYL----Carol.

Hi there, I'm a patient of Dr. Moran too!  I will be four weeks out in two days.  Week two I moved to the strained soups--potato was good for this because at least it had some thickness. Butternut squash fit in that category too.  Honestly, the SF puddings were my saving grace that week. Felt like a treat and had some consistancy. I ordered several protein samples from vitalady.com and settled on the Iso Pure. Specifically the strawberries and cream, but I liked the vanilla too.  It tasted the best to me, and even tastes fine mixed with water instead of milk.  I have one for breakfast each day now. I put two scoops in 8oz of water and it has 50g of protein, no sugar, no carbs and 210 calories.   Good luck!
