I'm trying to prep myself but taking the sips of water, and drinking 30 min before and after is a hard thing for me. I am eating healthy and everytime I eat something not so healthy it passes right through me. What to do? What to do?

I only point out practicing the sips because I found that to be hard for me. We each have different things that are harder or easier for us afterwards. The sipping thing will somewhat be taken care of right after surgery because you won't be able to take big gulps at first. It's really just to get you thinking in terms of taking smaller amounts of drink at a time and not drinking during meals. It'll be easier afterwards.
This is all about being aware of what you're putting in your mouth and when. For some of us, this is the first time we've been real with ourselves and others about the volume and what we're eating. The surgery makes you focus on intake and be aware of everything.
You'll do fine with your surgery, it sounds like you're preparing well. Keep up the good work.
Take care.
Ellen
