Insurance Says...
Pending. Apparently they want something more from the shrink. Said 'they only sent in a note'. Here we go again on the merry-go-round.
I called insurance to check my status and learned this. I've still not heard a thing from the doc. Line up the hoops, Ladies.
I'm going to go stretch so I can run and jump through them. I'm thinking they should have tod us this was a iron man marathon! haha

I'm just tired of hearing 'approved pending one more' something. Get it together and get it ALL in there! I've worried myself sick... they keep me going like this and I won't need the surgery. I'm either gonna be skinny from being sick from worry and nerves or so big I'll be a round butterball.
I've got what insurance says I need. Wonder how long it's going to take the surgeon's office to contact me and see what they say I need?

Yeah, insurance is hard. I found my insurance equally frustrated with my doctor's office. They said that by now my doctor's staff should know what they need, but they continue to send in incomplete files. I got tired of the excuses on both sides and for having to remind everyone to do the job they get paid for. Oh well, it worked out in the end and was well worth the effort and wait. You'll get there. Just be thankful those hoops you're jumping through aren't rings of fire..... although there's a cream for that.
Take care and hang in there.
Ellen

I'm sorry to hear about the hurdles you are all going through. I beleive this is normal.
First, the dr's office really has to know what to do and should share this information with you.
I had a print out from my surgeon's office and it gave in great detail what needed to be done, what to expect, etc.
First, insurance isn't in the business for paying claims, they are in the business of denying them.
I remember having cigna and they didn't cover birth control pills, which I needed for cysts. But they covered viagra. Talk about being miffed.
Unfortuently, people are EXTREMELY lazy in this world. When we (customers) don't hold them accountable they don't work that hard. It's true in all industries not just insurance. It seem's like you've always gotta double check what people are doing and hold them accountable. I find this in many facets of my life. I am at the point where I refuse to cooperate and do someone else's job, I do step on toe's, speak up and ask for managers. People count on other people being timid or too nice and not speaking up.
I will kick a badonkadonk in a NY Minute. Keep up and be patient.
