For all you losers who love to shop now....and if you happen to live or be in the Charlotte area...I was in the foodcourt yesterday at North Lake Mall with my children getting them something to eat before we went to see Shrek 3....Oh course I was wondering what I could find healthy and with alot of protein init...I all must gave up when I saw this place next to the Chic-Fil-A called BOLOCO...they sell very healthy food..I cant name them all but one thing that really caught my eye was the menu for Protien shakes....I order a shake that they call Jimmy Carter..It had peanut butter, low-fat yogurt, banana, and whey protien shake...a small shake was $3.49...and for a extra .99 cents you could add a extra 3 scoops of whey protien which has 52 grams of protien in it.....It tatsed great!!!I thought this was GREAT!!!! So next time you visit North Lake Mall check it out!!!! I was impressed!!!!

It sounds good... but check out the nutritional information on a regular size Jimmy Carter Cal 464 Fat 10.6 Carb 76.1  Sugar 69.5 Protein 18 That would be almost half my calorie intake for the day and almost all my carbs!! If you cut the peanut butter out or cut down the amount the sugar and carbs would drop quite a bit.

Thanks fro that information...I was just impressed with the amount of protien  in it. It didnt taste that sweet and this is one of the shakes that my nutritionist gave me to make on my own but that wasnt the name for it. Where did you get that information.

The mall shake probably uses a whey protein that is not low carb or sugar free.  The ones that Dr. Roc  suggests are low carb or sugar free.  I bet that they will make you a shake with your own protein if you bring them a baggie next time youar in the mall though!

You know I have to get better about checking things like that. It was late and I was at the mall looking for something for me and the kids and I knew I need to get something good for me in my pouch...I was just happy they offer something close to what I could have. I will just carry my own shake withme next time and have them fix it.

It can be rough... so many times I thought I was making a "good" choice then come home, look it up and am shocked at whats in there... seems its always too good to be true! I was drinking tea lattes from Starbucks for a while... figured hey it was tea... id get skim milk... finally looked it up and it was loaded with sugar and carbs! poo on them! I just went back and got another tea drink and asked if it was sugar free and the girl said yes... I checked when I got home... again, loaded with sugar! Its amazing what they hide in things they advertise as "healthy!"
