Ok me again, smile   Another set of questions... Does anyone know how soon your insides heal up? enough to where its ok to wear a body suit? or go to a fun park and ride a roller coaster? or sleep on your tummy? and how far out can we stop worrying about blood clots so much?   Again, Thank you Tonya

I'm pre-op, but, wouldn't that depend on YOUR body? I think it varies by person and how you feel/ heal. Good luck in your journey.

Each doctor and body is different.  I was cleared at 2 weeks post op for a return to all normal activity.  I could lay on my stomach by about 3 weeks to one month.  As far as roller coasters, I can't speak to that, but your doctor will tell you what you can and can't do. The blood clots are something that you are going to have to worry about until you're not sedentary any longer.  The more you sit, the greater your risk, even if you're 120 pounds.  That being said, from what I read, the first three months are when the risk is the greatest.  Again, your doctor can answer that. Take care. Ellen
