Worried Sick...

I'm so sick of waiting and playing this game. I think I'm working up an ulcer... well at least a good fit! I am the world's worst at waiting. No patience!! NONE!  Are they sitting there with a thumb up their butt or what?  Breathe, Grasshopper. Breathe. Can we tell I missed my meds? Sorry for the rant... but I sure do feel better! Hugs All,  Shawana

Shawana -     I'm feeling your pain! Went to my butthole psy. yesterday and asked him about what he wrote in my clearance letter. He said he spoke with surgeon and thought it was best if we waited a couple of MONTHS! This guy is nuts himself! I was PISSED! I stewed the whole ride home and when I got home I emailed my surgeons nurse and asked if my therapist could give me clearance (since she actually knows me!) Yes, was the answer! Shot off an email to therapist and she said no problem will do it today! I wish I would have known in the first place that it didn't have to be a psy. I could have this taken care of along time ago!   OK my rant is over...feeling better...be feeling even better when clearance is faxed!

Heard that! I was lucky all mine were on board. We really don't have months to wait in certain cases. They make it to where it's such a last resort!  Now if I can just get this ticker and signature thing...

That's what's KILLING me - he told me to my face that he would give me clearance! Hell he even called me at home! NUTS  I tell ya NUTS! I call mine Dr. Prune... he looks like a prune shoved on top a toothpick!  He's all of 5'3" and 100 lbs soaking wet. He has to think I'm a loon... it's all I can do not to laugh the entire session!   Thanks for the ticker and sig info... I'm ticker tarded! I just figured it would give me something to brood on and forget about paperwork. lol

Have you called your insurance company to check in yet?  At the very least, you can verify that you have actually been submitted.  I went a month thinking I was submitted and found out that they hadn't sent the dang thing in yet.    I was HOT when I found that out.  They were waiting on something from my nurse case manager and she didn't know they were.  Whatevah! Good luck with the waiting thing, I'm no good at it either.  It'll happen though and we'll be here cheering for you. Take care. Ellen

Yeah... been through that already! Let's avoid that subject.  They submitted on the 16th... oh, wait the 18th... no, wait again... Finally, mailed it on the 24th.  I have been burning up the phone lines.  I'm so fed up I'm ready to give up and walk to the insurance office myself! I'd be skinny or dead by then, so they won't have to worry about approval!!  I'm calling daily... either the doc's office or insurance. Just gonna rotate calling them every other day. One says they should have it, other says nope never seen it. My poor phone is gonna go check into Broughton! Abused lil thing.  Thank The Powers That Be for VALIUM!!
