Transfer Addiction following WLS-Nightline 5/30 11:30pm

If you get a chance to view Nightline on ABC tonight at 11:30pm they are featuring a segment on Transfer Addicitions following WLS.  It was filmed in Charlotte earlier this month at Southeastern Bariatrics Support Group meeting.

 

That's just great.  Now I am going to have to deal with yet another round of fun jokes at work.  I should just go ahead and wear a sign around my neck saying, "Yes, I am a sex crazed, shopaholic crackhead."  I realize transfer addiction can be a serious problem for a few folks, but this is just media exploitation, folks! 

Personal ly since I'm recently separated and the marriage wasn't hitting on much last year...I'm looking forward to a sex addiction...it won't cost any money and it will burn more calories=more weight loss!  LOL!!!!

WLS is not the "easy way out"-never let anyone take away from you what you are working so hard to accomplish.  There is nothing easy about changing your entire lifestyle and eating habits.  Tell them they are just jealous!!!!

The producer emailed the today and said it's been kicked for tonight....they are hoping to have it run sometimes this week. If I find out more I will post it.....  The transfer thing is a very low percentage but it is out there. I personally didn't have a food addiction I was lazy and I ate too much food at a sitting. Put those together and you will get fat w/ no problem. But please watch....we will be interest to see how they edit what the people said.
