Went today to finally have these staples removed, the top staples were about to kill me with soreness.  Dr. Pirrello said i was doing great except for my water intake i need to improve on and I knew that already.  He acted surprised when he saw that I was down from 212.5 to 200.8 in 1 week,do not know about you but after a week of only a protein shake and water you have to get it from somewhere so I thinmy fat robbers decided to finally kick in. He did give me some medication to prevent gallstones, he said that they are common after the byass surgery and some have to have their gallbladder removed. Well I am glad to be one the losing end for once in my life.

That is great!!! It was very hard to get all the liquid in. Popcicles helped me. How are you feeling? I feel ok just this was my first day back at work and I am beat. I have a desk job but I have not been sitting for long periods here at home so that took some adjusting. Also the ride to work was different. I ride in a van pool to Charlotte everyday. I did not have to worry about gallstones-- i had gallbladder removed in 2003. I do not have to worry about getting pregnant either. that happens after surgery sometimes. Keep up the good work.
Did you get the banded surgery?

feeling tired, every time i put my hands above my head i get dizzy,,,,so i better keep them down for awhile.  I got me some SF creamsicles (oops) they go down fine)

He would note out my gallbladder, he said that i would have more trouble if i did. Preganant I tell my son that he is birthcontrol(I hav the Mirena IUD) love it.  But I have been spotting I know it is from the hormone imbalance after surgery and the weight loss.  Down to 199.5 this afternoon. I hope you do better, I am going back to work on Monday, the Dr i work for finally called me yesterday and said to take it easy and we would help me.  thank god for that

Congratulations on your surgery!  Thankfully I didn't have staples.  Just those dissolvable stitches.  I am on the actigall also.  I spoke with my surgeon's nurse yesterday.  She said I should be losing 2 to 4 lbs per week and that I need to up my exercise.  So I am going for my morning walk as soon as I get this protein shake down.  :) Have a blessed day! Congrats on getting the staples out and the great weight loss!  I go to see Dr. P on Friday and I'll get the nineteen hernia stitches out (they took the rny stitches out while I was in the hospital last week).  With all these sitches, I'm keeping a sharp eye out for lightning!      How is the actigall?  Expensive?  Tabs or liquid?  what's your opinion?
