Holy Cow! Someone learned how to use the fax machine!! *faints* I'm surprised... I got a call last week the day after she was supposed to submit to say they needed bloodwork. Since I've had it all twice now, do you think they know I'm alive and breathing with all working parts? I can't stand waiting... it makes me a smart @ss! HURRY UP ALREADY!!!

Shawana - I'm delighted to hear that your information has been submitted to the insurance. When mine was submitted, I contacted the insurance to make sure that they had everything they needed and I asked them what the process was and what to expect. I'm not very good a****ching water boil if you know what I mean. But once I found out what the process was it was a little easier for me. I could call back and see if it has moved to the next stage and as long as I could see it moving through the system fairly well I did better. I actually knew that I had an approval before my Dr's office knew about it ;-). I'm not sure if that might work for you, but it sure helped me. Please be sure to let us know as soon as you know something. We're all waiting to hear the good news ... Soon you'll be updating us with a date! All the best to you,

Thanks! I called and they said it was mailed... oh the joy. She told me to call back Friday to make sure everything was there. I'm so excited!

Yes, we're all playing the waiting game now! I just had my last pre-op appointment today. If I don't hear anything by Monday from my surgeons office saying they submitted to insurance I'll call them. Tick-toc, tick- toc...... waiting.

Crossing my fingers, toes, and everything else. I hope it goes smoothly. It'll pass faster than you think, but after a week, it wouldn't hurt to call the insurance company. I did, and knew before my doctor did. Take care and let us know. ~Ellen

Thanks... I made the insurance lady give me her direct number! I'm calling back friday like she said and then every other day until I know something.

I'm not good at playing the wait and see game! I CAN'T wait!!!!! I need to know N-O-W. They better be glad I have gel nails at the moment... mine would be gnawed back to the knuckle otherwise!
