Hatteras
We went to Nags Head this weekend for a wedding. What a time for my family, and for me personally. We had a great time. I just wanted to post some Wow moments, my first of many I hope.
I climbed to the top of the Hatteras Lighthouse. It's got 250+ steps in it. I have pictures of me waving from the top of it! I never thought I'd be able to do that so soon after surgery. Then after that we left there, we went to Jockey's Ridge. I climbed that LARGE sand dune and rolled down it with the rest of my family. Again, last fall I couldn't do it. Yay!!! Finally, the realization hit me that I can fit into any booth! We went into restaurants all weekend and I didn't once think about whether or not I'd fit into the seats, or collapse the flimsy chairs at the wedding. Even one of those evil "fixed" booths like they have at the Waffle House was fine, with room to spare! Stall or not, I'm shrinking!
May you all have many many Wow moments!
Take care.
