I hate Chicken!
I can eat turkey, as long as it's either in low fat gravy or sliced really thin (deli style). Chicken, no matter how I prepare it makes me barf. I don't know if it's too dry or if it has something in it that sets me off.
I don't mind cooking, it's the cleaning up that I hate.
Thanks for the kind words, yep, I'll be 7 weeks on Wednesday. I have no idea how much I've lost, I've been in a sort of stall for a time. I know they're normal, but patience isn't one of my virtues.
My body doesn't like bread either. It gets caught and I get uncomfortable. Bread isn't the best kind of carb anyway. If I'm going to eat carbs I'd like them to be worth it. Whole grains, veggies, fruits, stuff like that. I never thought I'd see the day I craved salad, but here recently I do.
Take care.

I've heard this a lot about chicken. Too bad because I love chicken. I think I'll steer clear of it for a while ... maybe a loonnnggggg while after

Wow! I was thinking I'd probably get packs of chicken breast and cutting them up and cooking small portions. I guess I don't know what I will eat. I can't wait. I am not looking forward to barfing though. I guess I will take it easy trying what my body will "like" after surgery. Ellen, I am so happy for you. I hope you stay well.
