protein .....??????????

what are protein bullets and where do I find them????

They are 3 ounces of liquid and 25 or 42 grams of protein depending on the formula. Everything I read says that we can only absorb up to 30 grams of protein at a time, so I'm thinking that the 42 gram one is unnecessary. There are two health food stores in Greenville that carry them from time to time and will order them for you if you ask. I think that you'll save some money on shipping if you do it that way. They are pricey, but might be worth looking into if you're having trouble getting in your protein.

I bought these when I first had surgery....The good thing is there are 42g of protein in only 3 oz. The bad thing is they taste terrible...They are very thick like syrup so I mixed it with water and ice and drank it as fast as I could....After it was one you feel good knowing that you have your fill of protein for the day so whatever else you take in is a bonus....I bought mine online at bariatriceating.com...good luck!
