well it has been 31/2 weeks now at the exact same weight. I know everyone says this is normal, but it is so discouraging. Not up or down the exact same thing. I know I am losing inches but I WANT TO SEE THE SCALES MOVE!!!!! What is the longest anyone has stalled this early(one month post op)? I barely eat 7-800 calories a day, exercise, and try to eat my protein. Dr doesn't want us to do protein drinks. help!!

I've been sort of stalled for 2 weeks now. Everything I read says that it will start again. Keep doing what you know you are supposed to do and trust that it will work. Protein, water, and exercise are the key. From what I read, they say to change what you're doing, exercise a little more or a different type, add some protein and water. That's easier said than done, particularly a month out, but we can try, right? Let us know how it goes. Take Care. ~Ellen

Sounds like you are doing good, if you are losing inches. I know that I tend to loose weight in chuncks of a 4 to 5 pounds with breaks of a week or two in between. I don't know why. Our bodies are weird aren't they. Have you spoken with your surgeon or a nut about it?

Sometimes if you increase your calories for a day or two it will send your body back into the losing mode, sounds strange but it really works! Wendy
