Had my EGD today!!!

Hi everyone....Everything seems to be moving alittle faster now. Had my first appt with my surgeon on May 1, had my EGD today, now I guess it's wait time again. Dr Washington said the results for my EGD should come back in around a week and they would contact me then with the results. Then I guess they will send in to the insurance for the approval. It's hard to believe that is all that is left to do before I get my date. Does anyone know how long it normally takes medicaid to get back with a answer? I know, I'm getting ahead of myself but I just can't help it. Good luck to everyone on their journey and save me a seat on the losers bench.....Patsy

You're getting closer Patsy. The waiting seems like a long time, but it will pass quickly. Do what you can to prepare yourself while you're waiting. Start walking, try some protein supplements, get used to sipping water and chewing small bites slowly. Let us know how it goes. Take care. ~Ellen
