WHO HAD LAP BAND IN NC

IS THERE ANY ONE WHO HAS GASTRIC LAP BAND RECENTLY. I AM VERY INTERESTED IN HOW YOU ARE DOING WITH YOUR WEIGHT LOSS. I AM STILL CHUGGING ALONG ON MY PRE-OP DIET. GOOD LUCK

Hey Kim - I will be 2 yrs post op in June. I am so happy now - I am over a 100 pounds lighter, I enjoy my family time, I can keep up w/ my hubby and sometimes my 4 yr old. haha. I am so happy I did it. The weight didn't fall right off but it's been steady and that is what I like. Good Luck!!!!!

Hi Kim, I had LapBand 2/23/07- I am currently down 30lbs post op and 41 lbs since last Thanksgiving. I am VERY, VERY happy- averaging about 2lbs per week- nice and slow and steady! No complaints- I wish I had done this yrs ago. Good luck with your pre-op liquids and best wished for your surgery and a speedy recovery! Sheila
