Hello Kenneth, my favorite thing at that time was cottage cheese, for some reason it was so good to my tummy, I know some folks don't like it but if you do try it. Also my nutritionist Allyson Rutledge was a wonderful source at that time to give me some ideals, if you have a nutritionst ask her/him. Sugar free jello was a good one, refried beans were good , although I could not eat much they were very filing. Just remember chew chew chew,,, and eat slow, I used a baby spoon and it worked great. GOOD LUCK and welcome to the loser bench

After the protein shakes I was on a "soft foods" phase... I was allowed soft meats, soft cheeses, soft fruits/veggies (skin less), light yogurt, cottage cheese (my fav!!), creamy soups to name a few... you are still pretty limited but at least you get more variety. Eggs... I couldnt eat eggs until around month 5 so be aware many people have problems with eggs... as for the refried beans mentioned above - couldnt eat those until further out too... anything even slightly thick just felt nasty to eat... I swear I could feel it in my throat for hours! Good luck!

Very thin mashed potatoes. I remember they were yummy with some fat free gravy and I remember unsweetened applesauce with some cinnamon tasted like apple pie!!! Congratulations!!!!! Denise

I'm not allowed any carbs currently, I have to stick solely to protein. In the soft foods phase I ate cottage cheese, soft cheeses, eggs, yogurt, and peanut butter. This phase passes quickly and before long you will be able to add more. Take care. ~Ellen
