This is funny!

This was my first night back to work, post op. I am a machinist in the automotive industry (driveshaft). I am required to wear prescription safety glasses and shoes. Well, first of all my safety shoes are now too big because I have no more edema. I was literally walking out of them tonight. Any my safety glasses (which have been kept in case) kept sliding 1/2 way down my nose. I couldn't keep them up. I spent 1/2 the shift wondering what in the world happened to my safety glasses? I thought I must have sat on them or something. Then it dawned on me...duh... my dern head is smaller!!!!!!

Wow! That is great. I can't wait until something is loose on me. It was probably aggervating trying to work while you struggle to keep your shoes on and glasses up. Atleast your pants didn't fall! ANyway - CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!

Don't worry, Diane. With all the compliments you'll soon be getting about how great you look, you're "dern head" will swell up nicely and those glasses will fit again. Hee Thanks for the chuckle. Mare

Just wait .. very soon people will notice that you look different but wont be quite sure why...I had 3 people in 1 day to say they liked my haircut..it really looked god that way..only thing is I've worn my hair short with basically the style for years. Enjoy it.. Gail
