Hi everyone, I got discharged about noon today. Everything went fine with no complications. I have not had any problems with any food or drink and I can still drink milk. I did a lot of walking in the hospital and I think that makes a lot of differnce in how much pain you have. I got rid of a lot of gas. I have had very little pain. I hope those getting ready for surgery have as easy a time of it as I have had. Best Wishes, Judy

Judy, I have been following your journey on Fuzz's message board. Glad to hear that everything went well for you. I am waiting on my stuff to be sent to insurance so I probably still have a while to wait. Will you be at the support group meeting next week? Would love to meet you! Hugs, Donna

Hi Donna, It does take a while to get your info submitted but I surely can not complain, some people have to wait well over a year. I submitted my initial information packet to Susan in November 2006 so my wait was pretty short. I do intend to go to the next support meeting and I would love to meet you also. I hope your turn comes soon and you have a smooth and easy time of it. Best Wishes, Judy

Hi Ellen, Your posts have been such an inspiration to me ever since I first started reading posts on this site. I didn't have such a long wait like you did, mine actually was very fast. I took your advice and walked and walked. My nurse said he had never seen anyone make so many laps or make them so fast. I am really feeling quite well this morning. Thanks for your warm wishes. Best Wishes Judy
