On my way!

I'm soo excited! I attended Dr.Moran's seminar last nite and woke up this morning and got on the horn!I called UHC first and found out that my UHC plan covers my WLS at 100%! Next call, you guessed it, called Dr.Moran's office! Tony is great he confirmed everything and I have my initial consult on Wed. WOW! I know this is the very beginning of the process but, just to know that ins. will cover is a huge relief! I expect there will be bumps along the way so, I'm celebrating any and all "positives"!

I had UHC also. They are wonderful. I was approved first time. It took a couple of weeks, but after that everything went fast! Please keep posting and keep us updated on your journey. Blessings, Diane

Tell Dr. Moran and Jannell (His nurse I said Hi). Dr. Moran is wonderful. Let me know if you need any help or just want to talk. Good luck. I had UHC also and had no trouble getting approved. I had surgery March 1 and have lost almost 50 lbs.

It is so exciting. I have been to the seminar and had the endoscopy done. I am waiting for my other apts. They are in May. I am happy for you. The surgery is all I think about and talk about. I have already hit a huge bump. It broke my heart and I felt like the world was comming to an end, but I fixed the problem and I am back on track. I wish you lots of luck! Stacy

Stacy- I'm so glad you were able to remedy your problem! We will keep going step by step, soon we will be BANDED! I know I'm very impatient at times but I'm coming to the realization - GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT! Wendy

The first step is a giant leap! Good for you! Now remember this is a process and patience is the key. I hope for insurance approval sometime next week. Then I get to meet the surgeon and set a surgery date. So close and yet...E
