Angel?

Does anyone know how to go about getting an angel from this site? In a way I feel completely alone about all of this because I don't have many friends in this area. Most of my good friends live back home or elsewhere. My mom will be coming and staying with me for a week or so when I have my surgery. I have maybe one or two friends here, but none that have been through this or really understand why I'm doing it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I can't help you with how to get an angel but I'm in Asheville and can understand how you feel. Sometimes even the closest people can't understand why we are doing this or why we NEED to go through the process. But if you ever would like someone to talk to that's going through it also, please feel free to drop a line. Hang in there and it will all work out in time. We are off to a better life!!! Shawana PS. Hey Robin, I noticed you live in Fort Mill SC. I also live there, where abouts are you? Im in the Waterstone subdivison, Im sure you heard of it. I had my surgery Jan 16 and I only have one other friend that lives here in Fort Mill who has had the surgery over a year ago. Congrats on your approval! Boy do I know how that feels when they call you to tell you the good news. I started the whole process in OCT and was denied but in Dec I finally got the call for approval. I never thought it would happen but Im SO HAPPY I did this I have lost 47 lbs and hoping to get to 50 by the end of this month. Well give me a shout when you can and I hope we can get together sometime since we both live in Fort Mill, I dont know many people here myself since we just moved here Sept of last year. Hey Amber, I'm actually NC's angel coordinator. Unfortunatly I have had a few complications from my surgery and have dropped the ball this month. I will post a Angel Info letter on this site tomorrow. Right now I know a girl who would be an excellent angel. She also had Dr Bauman. I will ask her if she would be interested.
