Hi all. I went for my two week follow up today. It went very well and I'm down 26 pounds! I guess this surgery really does work! Hope all is well with you and yours. ~Ellen

Thanks Barbara. I am thrilled. I took my son to Ihop today, he loves the cinnastackers, and I fit into the booth just fine. Stuff like that is already happening and that is cool! Was fun to freak out the waitress too, I didn't want any drink, and ordered two eggs with cheese and only ate about a quarter of it. When I asked for a to-go container, her jaw nearly hit the floor. It was fun! Take care. ~Ellen

Hey Ellen, What great news !!!! I am so happy for you. You always said good things come to those who wait. I was wondering how you are feeling now? Do you have much pain ? I'm just waiting on Tuesday now. I hope I will be able to post such great results soon. Best Wishes, Judy

Thanks Judy! The good things keep rolling in. I'm feeling well actually. I stopped all pain meds a week after surgery. As of last night, I am able to sleep in bed again and am having no significant pain. I have not been nauseated, sick, or anything. The only thing that hurts now is the large hematoma that I got from one of my lovenox shots. That thing only hurts when I accidentally bump it against something. I'm walking a mile in the morning and two half miles throughout the rest of the day. The doc has cleared me to return to normal activities, so next week I plan to go back to the gym. I would go today, but son is busy working on his senior project and my presence is required . Good luck on Tuesday and keep us posted. Take care. ~Ellen

Thanks Stacy! It is a lot of weight. I'm actually down 100 pounds from my highest weight two years ago. I was 425 then. It's hard to actually type that, but hey, sometimes the truth hurts. Take care. ~Ellen
