Got approved and have a surgery date!!!!!!

Hello board. I have been reading this board every since my first appointment on 2/12/07 and have learned alot from all of your comments. I was approved for surgery on 04/04/07 and have a surgery date of 06/12/07. I am so excited and scared at the same time. I have be heavy all of my life so I am ready to shed this weight and feel good about myself. Diabetes and high blood pressure runs on both sides of my family and it is creeping up on me so I know that the weight loss will help me to prevent these illnesses. Please support me so that I can make it through this surgery. Thanks Ros

Congratulations Ros! It probably seems a long time until June, but it will fly by. Please use this time to get yourself in the best shape possible, it will be easier on you and your surgeons. Learn all you can about protein supplements and post operative care. You'll do great and we'll be here to support you however we can. Take care. ~Ellen
