Surgery date

Is anyone else having surgery the 16th or 17th in Concord? I was wondering if I would be alone?? Of course my hubby will be there but anyone from here? Teresa Leffew

Teresa - Congratulations on your wonderful news! It must be really exciting to know that your life will change for the better in so many ways in just a few days. My Mother is having a procedure done on the 17th so I won't be there in person, but I'll be thinking of you and waiting to hear about the wonderful journey you are embarking on. All the best, Barb

I also go to the concord doc's, they just submitted by medical necessity letter on 4-5-07 with BCBS Federal, when I called BCBS they said they do not do prior approval and the letter of med nec is kept on file, but on the policy from BCBS it states they may have to have prior approval. I am so confused. Kim H said that it may take about 2-4 weeks, then i spoke with a co-worker and it only took them 2 days. I wonder how long after your are so called approved it takes to get a surgery date, and if they do surgery all week or just on specific days?
