Newbie here in Asheville N.C. Introductions

Hola Amigos in NC, Christian Here, Some of you may know me from the Main Board or even the Texas Board. I'm here in NC for a while and wanted to introduce myself and find out if there are any other WLoosers around. hee hee. I'm a long term post op at goal weight since...a long time ago. I love to meet new people and have plenty of time to get together for coffee and talk. I'm writing a new book and have taken some time off from my work as a college professor in Texas. So, have at it, can I get a north carolina welcome. Don't be shy I really want to meet you, yes YOU who is reading these lines. Christian

Hi Christian, I am not in Asheville. I live in Haw River NC, not far from Burlington and Greensboro. I know you will enjoy your time in Asheville. It is beautiful up in the mountains. I am doing fine. 7 days post op here and have never felt better! It has been a fantastic week for me and who would have ever believed that I could feel this good in a week! I am so excited every day. Thx Christian, I know about the plateau. I have not bought a scale for that reason. When I checked out of the hospital it said I gained 3 lbs! LOL oh well... I FEEL better. I feel smaller. Hi, my name is amy. I am in the little @ss town albemarle n.C. It is close to charlotte n.C. That is the biggest town close to me. I love n.C. Been here all my life. I am 42 years old. I have 2 children. 21 and 15. I am a single mom. I work at a health department. Work with babies. That is cool.............I love tattoos and cars..........Don't date much......Don't get asked.... I went from to fat to being to skinny. What the hell??? I am 21 months out of gbs. Been sick the whole time.......And what the hell again???? Lol...........Be good or be good at it.....God bless. Hi Amy! Wow, you have definitely done well with the weight loss! and now you have the opposite problem huh? A friend of mine Kim Gregory had the same problem. I haven't talked to her in a loooong time. probably over 2 years. She was always fighting the same fight, not weighing enough. Saw your pics, did you have plastics? I don't see a trace of excess skin or nothing? I LOVE sports cars AND coffee. In fact I'm going to jump on mine right now and go get some Vanilla Cappuccino. I hope that by the time I get back, you will have replied and given me more info, like, when can we get together for coffe. Christian

The only place I have loose skin is some on my upper arms. But I can hide it real good.I have not done any exercise at all. To freaking sick!!!! For real if you ever make it out to charlotte let me know. We should plan a little get together. There are lots of gbs people in charlotte. Hell you would think I was the only one in albemarle that has ever had it done. Even the freaking doctor at the ER ask me what was gastric bypass...........DUMB @ss....................I had it done in charlotte. Have a good day. Oh by the way I see where you speak spanish. That is so freaking hot...........my ex boyfriend is spanish. I was with him for like 6 years and caught him cheating 4 freaking times. I did love his smooth tan skin. Spanish men has the best skin. OH GOD I GOTTA STOP THINKING ABOUT IT....GETTING HOT SITTING HERE AT WORK............NOT GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that I am talking about sex. What do you think about sex now...... I did not know I could bend and move in so many ways. And fit in tiny places. Not many places I can't have sex...............Oh god I am sorry if I made anyone mad. I admit it sex is so much better now.......things are easy to find now..lol...lol...lol.... Welcome to North Carolina Christian! I moved here about a year and a half ago and absolutely love it. We're in Greenville, the home of East Carolina University. I know you will love Asheville. I was there about a year ago and wished I could have had more time to explore it. The Biltmore just took my breath away. I'm married, the mother of two teenage boys. One of them is a senior this year and will be attending ECU in the fall. I'm a part time college student myself, in the distance learning program at Liberty University. I'm just getting a 2 year degree in CMIS, then hoping to get a job and pursue a 4 year degree. I had my surgery last Wednesday. It went very well. My doctor and the hospital staff were wonderful. I'm excited to meet a long term post op, I'm sure we have a lot to learn from you. Take care and keep posting ~Ellen
