Concord NC area support needed

I am in Concord and looking for a group or someone to communicate with. I am 3 years out and really struggling! [email protected]

I think there use to be a support group at NEMC maybe call Dr Bauman's office. I know that Dr Voellinger has one in Charlotte and Presbyterian holds one once a month also. There is a group of about 25 of us that meet monthly now must of us are banded but we have a few RNYers that join us. We change from month to month on the location. Good Luck!!!!

There is a group that meets at NEMC. the next meeting is March 6 at 6pm classroom 1,2, &3 downstairs in the medical arts building. I am jsut getting started. I am waiting for the Dr to get the report from nutrition and then submitt to insurance. Teresa Leffew

I also am waiting for my MMPI from my psychologist to arrive to them at Dr Bauman office and the insurance approval. I went to there meeting in February, alot of good advise from people that have already had th surgery. Teresa what insurance do you have?

I have united health care. They paid for the first vist in just a day or two. my hold up is the nutri. eval. Dr Lilly has already sent his report in. I had most of my blood and labs done prior to my first visit on Jan 30. I hope for a early April like 3 or 4 surgery date. I will be at the meeting on Tuesday.

I'll be there and can't wait to meet everyone. Surgery date is 3/12 with Dr. Bauman! I just found out this week and I am a roller coaster of emotions right now.
