Updates on Kristi Kay and Jill Adams
Judie,
Thank you so much for thinking of me. I got home yesterday. Everything was pretty much a blur. That first day after surgery was a hard one with pain and nausea. I think if my meds were given more timely I wouldn't have felt so bad. I came home yesterday and felt some better. I'm home today and all I have wanted to do for the past 24 hours is sleep. My pain and nausea are controlled but I feel weak. I'm getting assistance from a family member in calculating what I should be drinking when. I think if I can do better with my protein intake, I should be less fatigued. I wasn't nervous at all before surgery. Not even at the last minutes. I'm pretty sure that's because of all the prayers said for me. I hope everything goes smoothly from this point on.
I have also talked to Kristi and she seems to be doing well at home also. Her surgery was a day before mine. I guess all three of us are on the losers bench now. Even though I don't resemble feeling normal yet, it's a great place to be.
Thanks for thinking of us!
...Jill
