Help please

Hi I just moved to NC and I am trying to find a great surgeon. I was supposed to have surgery in Nov. but no one could get an IV started on me. So I got dressed and left. So here I am starting all over again and instead of doing the RNY I would like to know more about the lap band. I would love some contact info on a good surgeon. Where in NC did you move? There are several surgeons in the Charlotte area that I could name. I personally picked Dr Voellinger because of his personality and dedication to WLS. He was for sure the right one for me. Like I said though there are several to choose from in this area. I know the Raleigh area has a few also. I was band a year and half ago, so far I have lost 100 pounds and still going here and there. I am not on yahoo chat but please feel free to contact me anytime. Good Luck....

Dr. Grant at Duke Weight Loss Clinic performed my surgery. He has since retired, but there are three or four more surgeons that trained under him and all are great!! Welcome to NC!!!!

Hi I live in raleigh and I had Dr Portiner with teh DUKE wight losss clinic as well. They have informational sessions almost every friday at durham regional the website you can go to is www.dukewls.org . They have a group that preform the RNY which is what I had on FEB 8 and have already lost about 32lbs and they also preform the lap-band.
