I have been losing so slow latley. Anyone else? I am 20 pounds to goal so I guess since July 20th til now the loss is wonderful but now its like a pound every other week. So its really slow now. With 20 pounds to go i know I am doing well. I dont want to get underwieght so I guess this slowing down is my bodies way of balancing out. Not sure never really read anyones take on it to give me a heads of normality. Let me know what you think...
Thank you all ahead of time!!!
I had surgery June 20th... I am now 29lbs from goal. My NUT told me to expect around a 5lb loss each month... she said it may get slower the closer you get to goal. Last month I lost 9lbs which was a suprise but this month I am down only 2 so far.. hoping to hit 5lbs by the end of the month since I have two more weeks left!!! Ive read where people zoom to their goal weight and beyond and then there are others (like us) that get slower as it gets closer to goal. Good luck!
I have talked to several GBP patients and alot of them say the fastest they took off the weight was during the first 6-8 months, after that point the body gets use to what your eating and maybe changing some things in your diet can get the last 20 Lbs off. Whenever I told one of the people that I work tht information she did it and lost 10 # in 1 1/2 weeks, your metabolism and your body say" Ok I know what she's doing now so let me slow down, then when you change something you confuse it and it starts losing again" Funny how the mind and body actually work together to correct things.
