Pre-admit Testing

I have a appointment at the hospital where my surgery is goinng to take place about 5 days before. Whay can I expect to go on, need to know getting exicted but nerves are on edge also.

Hi, When I went for pre testing @ the hospital I had an Artery Blood Gas done. At the dr. office I had an EKG, Chest X-Ray, Urine Analysis, Urine Pregnancy and normal blood work up. It went very well. I was worried about the Blood Gas, because I had had one before and it hurt like the dickens. But the girl that did it was great, she didn't hurt me any.

They do all over again, I had all this done way early in the beginning, i don't mind we do what we have to do, my appointment is at 11am so this means I'll be there for a while Huh.....

Only preop testing I had was bloodwork. They asked a bunch of questions as well... took about 2 hours. I was overall "healthy" (except for being fat!) so didnt require anything else! Congrats on your upcomming surgery!
