Hi Amy Things are going pretty good for me and my family. Thanks for asking. My wife is presently going through the approval process to have the WLS. I am having some pain in my stomach about 3" on either side of my new naval. The doctor doesn't think it is another hernia, but he isn't sure what it is. I'm having a cat scan done soon and hopefully that will show something. He said if the cat scan is negative then he will just inject around the site for pain management. It might just be adhesions from the last surgery, but he wants to be sure. My weight loss is pretty stable now. I fluctuate up and down the same three pounds for the past two months so I guess I'm at my "goal" weight. I hope all is well for you. I still pray for you. I know that God is in control of all things. Larry

Hi Larry. Long time no see. I am glad that you are doing well. So Jimmie has decided to have surgery--that is quite a change of heart. Please tell her that I wish her luck with the entire process. I hope to see you at a Gastonia meeting soon. I have been absent of late, as it is difficult for me to get down there during the week. I am finally uder 150lbs with 9 more to go. I had a hernia and bowel obstruction a few weeks ago which required emergency surgery, but all is well now, and they were able to fix me up laproscopically. George is doing great.
