Its not too bad right now. Im not too nervous. Jus****ching TV and trying to keep my mind off things. I had to turn it off. Too many commercials for McDonalds....lol My mom and brother will be here in about 4 hours to drive me and my kids to the Hospital. Then the fun starts. My mom will throw a fit. She just cant handle stress. My brother isnt too happy about taking time out of his busy (actually pretty carefree if you ask me) lifestyle either. I tried to get a lot of errands done today but didnt get finished. Im going to try to get a few hours sleep. Hope to be telling you guys how it was a piece of cake in a few days.

RM, I will be praying for you and your surgeon today. You will do great. Post soon and let us know how everything went. I have read your previous posts in the past and know how stressful this whole process has been and glad that things, even though not so smoothly, have gone your way.

R M, You've got lots of people cheering for you and praying for you. Try not to worry about Mom, brother and kids. They will all be fine. Concentrate on yourself and all the wonderful thoughts that loosing weight brings to mind! Let us hear from you as soon as you are up to it. Karen N

I am home now. I wish I could say everything went fine with no problems. The hospital gave me fuids containing glucose thru my IV and after several containers I went in some kind of shock. My kidneys shut down. They discovered their mistake and started me on something that would help. They took me off the glucose/Saline fluids and put me on just saline fluids and started giving me lots of insulin to bring my blood sugar down. Late Friday I started urinating again and so far it looks lik just a temporary hiccup. I wasn't nauseous at all. I've noticed my sense of smell is much stronger though. My left buttecheek is numb and I am pretty sore. All in all I gained about 5 pounds in the hospital.
