ONE MORE DAY UNTIL SURGERY :)

Good evening, just wanted to say hello. I can't believe that I have one more day until surgery. Tomorrow morning I drink my wonderful colon cleansing drink...Lol...Lol and just have clear liquids all day. I plan on trying just doin things around the house...Making sure my overnight bag is ready, things around the house will be ready for when I come home, my daughters things are ready, you know all the loose ends are tied up. If anyone has any suggesstions in case to offer please let me know. Thanks again everyone for all the great thoughts and prayers. Steph

Hi Stephanie, Congrats on the big day finally arriving for you. Let me just day how thankful I am my surgeon never mention 'colon cleansing' to me!...hahaha. Poor thing. I don't have any suggestions to offer. Just know you are in good hands. Lots of people will be praying for you and anxious to hear how you are doing upon return. Best wishes!! Karen N

Karen , Thanks so much for the wonderful thoughts .....yeah I'm here at home doing my cleansing of the colon....lol.....lol. I think that I have spent most of my time in the bathroom...lol...lol. But I can tell you that I feel very relaxed today. I'm just gonna do some things here around the house and relax. I have to be at Durham Regional at 12:30 in the afternoon and my surgery is at 3pm. Stephanie, I'm two weeks out from Duke WLS. You will be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow. I hope things go well. Just remember to get up and walk ASAP. It will make it so much easier. Good luck!!!!!!!
