Pain in abdomen

Has anyone else had pain in the left area across from the belly button? It doesn't hurt as long as I am sitting or lying down, but when I get up and walk is when it starts throbbing. I am not sure what it is. It isn't tender when you press down in that area. It aches inside. I just had the RNY on 1/9/07 and yesterday was the first real food I had. I had no trouble with it going down or nausea. I hope that isn't it. I am waiting it out today and if it is no better later today or tomorrow morning I will call my doctor. No it didn't go away. I called my doctor yesterday and he thought I may be constipated so he told me to drink that nasty stuff that cleans you out prior to surgery. So I did that and it took me so long to get that stuff down and I only drank 1/2 bottle. Well, the pain didn't go away and continued to get worse. I called my doctor again today and they told me to go to the emergency room. So I went in at 11:30 today and just got home. They said that the surgery looks great. The only thing they found after xrays and a cat scan was a 5.7cm cyst on my ovaries. So thank god it was nothing to do with my surgery. Now I have to get into my ob/gyn office to get that taken care of. So basically I am still in alot of pain. Amanda
