I was wondering which of these two books would be the most helpful. I really can't afford either but I would like to have the one that will help me the most if I'm going to purchase one of them. Where I'm going to have my wls requires a $250 fee before they schedule any appointments.....today that fee was paid and now I feel like my journey has trully started. I want all the info I can get.......Patsy

Hmmm, the nutrionist at Dr. V's office recommended WLS for Dummies to me. One thing I found is that you can purchase an "online" version of WLS for dummies book for about $4 at Amazon. It worked out fine for me. But a lot of people don't like reading online books. I certainly wouldn't read a fiction book online but I had no problems with a reference book and it saved me about $20. - Bobby

Thank you for the info but I think I would be better off with a book I can take around with me. I sometimes don't have the chance to get online for a few days and I want to learn all I can as soon as I can. Even though my journey is just getting started I'm so excited I can't seem to learn enough. Thanks again for the info....Patsy

Hi Patsy. I have WLS for Dummies. It's a good book for those just starting out on their journey. I would be happy to send it to you if you want. I'm done with it myself. Just email me your address. Also, if you want to try the library first, they do sometimes have it. Good luck. ~Ellen

Thank you so much....I very much would like to have the book. I have already tried the library and they didn't have it at any of the libraries in their system. I feel very good about my journey...Wednesday my program services fee was paid to get things started. Thursday two people canceled their Friday appt. with the psychologist so I was able to get the first half of that out of the way. The best part is I have wonderful people like you to help me learn all I can. Thank you so much.....Patsy
