Thanks so much to all your kind words after seeing my " after " pictures. I posted my message and have been so busy I had not even looked at replys until this morning. The jeans in question are 26 ( maybe 28's ) , I bought them at Lane Bryant about a year ago, I remember trying them on in the dressing room and thinking, do these make my butt look huge or what,,,, BUT I really needed a pair of jeans since the 24's in the closet no longer fit me, so $60 later I had my new jeans. I took my before pictures in the jeans , my dear sweet nutritionst Allyson Ruthledge recommed I keep the jeans as a reminder and a go by as my weight started coming off. I will admit to you all , these jeans stay over the back on my kitchen chair at ALL times, I must pass " THE JEANS " before I can get to the kitchen, I find myself just laying a hand on them often . Over the past 10 months I have taken pictures in the jeans , at the start of my journey, my dream was to stand in one leg of these jeans, and now I CAN YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly I would not sell the jeans for any amount of money they really have been a big blessing. SO Pre opers and new Post'opers KEEP some old stuff, take pictures often of yourself in the same clothes. I love my RNY--- my doctor Melkonian was a Dream Boat, my nutritionst has been more than great, and all my friends and DH have been such a great support. Like someone said , I never ate raw veggies or high carb foods, I listened to what I was told to do I did everything on schedule and it all has come out so good for me. I read on here once a lady eating eggs 2 days after her surgery and she was worried about it DUHHHHHHHHHHHHH, it was a month before I had a half of a soft egg... also it os so important to get on some kind of exercise program, even if you just plan a walk every night OR better yet join a club , I personally LOVE Curves ( for the girls only sorry Blokes ) ,,, it is perfect for large women you go at your own pace. Take care !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for such an iformative update. I had surgery 10 days ago so I read such post with great interest. I too plan to follow the doctor's advice to a tee. That seems to be where the greatest success lies. Congratulations on a job well done and thank you for sharing. Diane
