Tuesday is my Big Day!

Well everyone, Monday is my last day at work since I am having my surgery Tuesday at 7:30 AM ! I was fine for so long and now Im so nervous that I cant seem to stop shaking just thinking about it. Went shopping today for everything I need for the hospital and also all my clear liquids for when I get home. Is there anything else I should know about that I might need besides liquids? Seems I cant even think straight today and I had to make a list of everything but wondering if I missed anything. I got my vitamins, SF jello, SF ice pops, Chicken broth, beef broth (YUK) If anyone can give me some tips on other things I might need please just jump in and let me know. You have all been so great to me on OH since I started this whole process and now I cant believe my day is just around the corner. Wow what a journey this is going to be. Good Luck, I had mine this past Tues and I plan on going back to work on Tuesday. I am feeling pretty good. I did all the shopping you did and you seem to have it all ready to go. Wishing you the best and a speedy recovery. Amanda Stone-Secrest

Hey Denise. Wishing you an uneventful surgery day and a wonderfully speedy recovery! Keep us posted on your progress as it really helps us pre-ops to read about new post-ops. I really hate it when people have surgery and then you don't hear anything else about their journey after a week or two. Denise, Finally.....the day you've been waiting for! The day your life changes for the better and better and even more better! I'm right behind you with two more weeks to go. Hey Karen, Its nice to know you live so close, I see your date is coming up soon also wow. Its now 8:30 PM and of course Im going to have a hard time getting to sleep tonight, I just wanted to post back to you and thank you so much for your support and prayers, that is really sweet. Its so great hearing from people that really are concerned about each other here on OH. This is the best place to be for advice and the people on here are wonderful. Ive met so many great people and I hope one day to meet some of them. Where are you having your surgery? Mine will be at Piedmont medical center in Rock Hill SC. Maybe we can meet sometime. I know they are having their support group at the hospital also so thats where I will be going Im sure.
