2 week post-op visit
Had my 2 week post-op visit yesterday and everything went great! Surgeon said I was right where I should be Ive said it before and will say it again that I am amazed at how great I feel! I started soft foods on Tuesday and so far so good (cept for an incidient with 2 strawberries - staying away from those for a few more weeks!!!). Am down 24lbs so far and surgeon says at my 3 months I should be down around 60lbs total - cant wait! I was cleared to do whatever exercise I want (cept situps) so I am looking forward to starting Yoga saturday!
Hope everybody has a great weekend!
Hi Jennifer,
My name is Crystal and I am pretty new to all this. We have the same surgeon so I was interested in your progress greatly. I have dealt with him for several months now and although I have had issues it was never with him. Last October I started my journey with United as my Insurance. I started late in the year not realizing my job would be changing Ins Co's eff. Jan 1. I spoke with everyone at the Bariatric Treatment Center and they were all aware of the time issue. They convinced me it shouldn't be a problem getting me scheduled before year end. I had EVERYTHING completed by Nov 11th. Approved in 4 days. It all came down to scheduling. But. obviously it didn't happen. I did get it scheduled for Jan 31st but my new Ins co. Cigna wouldn't approve me. I had to start all over again with their process whi*****luded 6 months diet with PCP. I have finished all that now and am getting all paperwork back in order and updated. I was THRILLED to hear he wasn't with the Bariatric Treatment Center anymore and so far the contacts I've had with Mel at this office have been great. Was just wondering how your experience was and KOODOZ to you and your accomplishment.
