WHAT NEXT?????
Hi All of MY NC Friends,
Things have been crazy and it is about to drive me crazy. Two weeks after my surgery my mom was in the hospital for a week. Last week my oldest (Alexis) was hospitalized for 5 days for a severe sinus infection, bringing on a exaberation of her asthma. Then Friday, My youngest( Allison) got a date for her surgery---Aug 3. Allison has a condition called RSD/CRPS, which is a nerve damage in her left arm caused by a automobile accident 2 years ago. She has to have a spinal cord stimulator placed. It is somewhat like a pacemaker but place on the spine to help stimulate the spinal nerves to cover the pain. She had one place about 1 1/2 years ago and the lead moves and then the pocket where the battery was got infected. She was so sick and she is terrified to do this again. She is always in pain and when she has an acute attack, she literally has to take pain medicine to where she just sleeps. Sometimes these attacks can last 1-3 weeks. With all of this I am afraid it is going to impact a new job that I just started 3 weeks before my surgery!!!
Oh well enough whinning. It just makes me feel better to know I can talk to you all and you understand. I don't know what I would do without your support and prayers.
Everyone have a great 4th and rest of the week.
Love all of you guys!!!
Pat
Pat, sending you and your family big huggs and praying much sucess for your daughter's upcoming surgery and your boss to be an understandable boss and realize that you need a little slack for now but realizing he/she has a great person on their staff and in the end they will benefit!!! Pat, you are far from whinning as I'm sure your load is heavy and sometimes it feels good to talk about it... Good luck to you and your family...
HI DEE,
How is your pain? I hope it is better. I think of you often and wonder if things are going better for you. Thank you so much for the offer, it means so much to know everyone cares and listens.
Please let me know how you are doing!!!!
Thanks again. I just pray things go smoothly for Allison this time.
