I'm cancer free!

Hey everyone! I know I haven't posted much lately. I have been lurking, just not feeling like I had anything great to add or nice to say. I've been battling hypothyroidism and my treatment was horrible. BUT....I got a call from the Dr that the cancer had not spread past the one lymph node and that the Radioactove Iodine should have killed what I did have. So I'm gonna be optimistic and say I'm cancer free! Hopefully by the grace of God I will stay that way! On a WLS note I had posted a while back that I am in onederland! Now if I can just make it to goal. I have actually been starving myself because of the low iodine diet and nausea from the treatment. So the weight loss has been slow. I am slowly but surely getting my tastebuds back so that's a plus. Miss all of you guys, hope to see the Gastonia group on July 10th. Has anyone heard from Linda Haas? & Carly

Hey Carly! Thank you for the compliment! Michael is doing great. He is down around 77 pounds now and feeling great as well. He starts a new traveling position on Monday and he is looking forward to it and if this was before his surgery he would now enjoy it like he will now. I am happy to hear about your hubby. I pray all will go well for him. I know Robin did express her worries about him one time to me. I am glad he is seeing Dr. Bauman as well. He is awesome and has been so wonderful with Michael.
