What if Jesus had called on the angels to save him.....
OK, everynow and then I just have throw something like this out for us to ponder. With Easter upon us, I just have to ask, have we, (me and you) sat down and really pondered where we might be had Jesus not died on the cross. Not only was his death in God's glorious plan for redemption, but also his wonderful resurrection. We are so blessed. I know I am. This time last year, did I love the Lord? Yes I did, but this year after going through weight loss surgery and seeing how good HE has been to me everyday with helping me lose my weight and gaining my life back I can't help but love him more. It has not been an easy year for me. There have been things in my life that I have had to deal with and without going into all the details I can tell you that without him, I would not have survived! Without him I would be nothing. Jesus knew me before the world was formed and in just trying to imagine the enormous bounds of his love it blows my mind. I have been blessed so far to not have had many problems with my surgery and weight loss, some of us have had more than others, but we still get up everyday and breath the air that he has provided for life. We are given a chance every new day to live life and he deserves to be praised for his many, many blessings. I thank him everyday for the wonderful new friends I have found through my weight loss journey and finally before I sit here and write a book, I want to say that if you are at a place in your life where you feel defeated, down and that no one cares I want to tell you that I care, but most of all Jesus cares and in your humility if you call out to him he will hear you. He doesn't always answer our prayers the way we want them to be answered, but he will provide our needs. It may just be the strength that we need to get through one more day. He will be there in the night when the world seems to be crashing in around us and he is there when we stand on the mountain. I pray everyone has a blessed Easter. I love each and everyone of you. God Bless. Angie
Good Morning Angie,
I just had time to read your wonderful post. I wish we could keep this frame of mind for our Father not only at Easter but everyday. I like you are so blessed to have Jesus with me during the things that have been going on in my life, a dear friend of ours, that is a pastor calls this "DOING LIFE" and fortunately we have our Father to hold us up. Especially when "DOING LIFE" is so hard some times.
Thank you for reminding us at this special time of the year to be so thankful for His love. May we all remember it each day of the year and not just this special Sunday!!!!
God Bless you too Angie,
Pat
