Hey guys, I know this has been asked atleast 100 times, but I could not find the post. I have my surgery on April 25, and am trying to get things together and be ready. I also need what to have at home when I get home. I am cleaning out cabinets so there will be nothing to tempt me. LOL Any help will be appreciated- Melissa

I would say , take your own pillow, several flavors of chap stick, house shoes with a grip bottom ( hospital floor are slick ) , a house coat is not really needed unless you do not have a IV in your arm ( my IV was in my neck so my personal housecoat was great ) , take your cell phone and address book with telephone numbers ( morphine always makes me chatty ) , if you have long hair take something to pull it back/up ( bad hair is a hospital thing ) , I took along a book and did read some. The hospital will provide you with anything you need otherwise. Lay back and allow them to pamper you Good Luck , my surgery was so easy, I hope yours is the same. Allison
