Medical ID

Hey ya'll. Lived through work but slept alot today. Just wanted to tell ya that I ordered a 14K gold Medical ID plate (bought the chain separate) from a jeweler in NYC. Harris Michael. It was $99 and 7.50 to engrave. No sales tax or shipping. I had GASTRIC BYPASS NO BLIND NG TUBES engraved. Picked up a 14K gold bracelet figaroa style at the mall. It looks good and not noticable. I had the jeweler take out links and add another clasp so that I can make beaded bands like the Lauren Hope ones. I got solid gold outside the plate with just the emblem in gold as well not red. I like it alot. The guy at the mall Jewelery World (I think ) at Northlake said he could have done it for about the same price and he has the catalog you can order different sizes, shapes, red on the outside or not etc. I figured as much as I am on I77 that if I were in an accident I would not want my pouch destroyed. Think about MVA's-- airbags or steering wheel trauma to the belly. Sleep tight Gail

Gail, I ordered my first medical alert bracelet from Lauren's hope & i love it. Granted they are very expensive. I'm going to make me some other bracelets to interchange. Have you seen the new spring bling ones on their website? Check it out. Where can we order some more medical alert tags like the ones that are on Lauren's hope bracelets. Thanks, Wendy
